exploitEV (also written xEV) is poker study software. There is no real-money play and no wagering anywhere in it. This page says what we collect, why, and how to have it deleted. It is short because we collect little.
What we collect
- The early-access list. If you leave your email address on the home page we keep the address, the time, the country your request came from, your browser's user-agent string, and the IP address it came from. The IP address is used to stop bots from flooding the form.
- Your account. If you sign in with Google, Google tells us your name, your email address, your profile picture, and an identifier for your Google account. That is all we ask for. We never see your Google password, your contacts, your mail, or your files.
- Your work in the app. The scenarios you set up, the solves you run and save, your settings, and counts of how much you use each feature so that plan limits can work.
- Server logs. Like every web service, ours records the IP address, time, and address of each request. We use these to keep the service running and secure.
What we do with it
- Run the service and keep your work attached to your account.
- Send the email you asked for: an early-access invitation, and messages about your account.
- Keep the service secure and stop abuse.
We do not sell personal data. We do not show ads. We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics. Poker hands you study in the app are yours and are not shared with other users.
Information from Google
We use the name, email address, and profile picture we receive from Google for one purpose: to sign you in and show you which account you are using. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not pass it to anyone except the service providers described below, who handle it only to run exploitEV for us.
Who else handles it
We run on a small number of service providers under contract: a hosting and content-delivery provider, a cloud compute provider, a database and sign-in provider, and an email delivery provider. They process data only on our instructions. Fonts on this site are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google when a page loads. We will disclose information if the law requires us to.
Cookies and browser storage
When you are signed in, your browser keeps a session token so you stay signed in, and the app keeps your display settings. That is all. There are no advertising cookies.
Keeping and deleting
We keep account data for as long as you have an account, and early-access entries until the list has served its purpose. To leave the list, delete your account, or get a copy of what we hold about you, write to hello@exploitev.com from the address concerned. We act on it within 30 days. You can also remove exploitEV's access from your Google account at any time in your Google security settings.
Age
exploitEV is for adults. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
When this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. If a change is significant and you have an account, we will tell you by email.
